Help CLIC Sargent
In celebration of our 100 year anniversary, we've pledged to raise at least £100,000 for children's cancer charity CLIC Sargent. If you book a holiday with us in 2012 you'll be helping CLIC Sargent too, as we are making a donation of 1% for every booking in Hoburne owned accommodation and touring*.
CLIC Sargent is the leading cancer charity for children, young people and their families in the UK. They provide clinical, practical and emotional support to help children and young people, and their families, cope with cancer and get the most out of life.
With your support, we can help CLIC Sargent to be there to help them through some of the hardest times they will ever have to face - from the point of diagnosis, through treatment and beyond.
As well as donating 1% for every booking in Hoburne owned accommodation and touring, we'll be fundraising through the whole of 2012 by cycling over 500 miles, taking part in skydives and the occasional light marathon!

So how would £100,000 help CLIC Sargent support children and young people with cancer, and their families?
- £100,000 could enable CLIC Sargent to provide Care Grants to over 500 families in need of financial assistance at the point at diagnosis. These are made available to families 72 hours after registering with us.
- £100,000 could enable CLIC Sargent to support 26 children through their cancer journey.
- £100,000 could pay for a CLIC Sargent nurse for two years. Our Nurses provide specialist care in hospital and in the community. Having a nurse visit at home or school to take blood or change dressings means less disruption to a family's everyday life.
