Hoburne Cotswold Access
Set in the heart of the Cotswold Water Park near to the village of South Cerney, Hoburne Cotswold is a 70 acre park with four lakes. We have Static Caravans, Lodges, Chalets and touring and camping fields. The Park is reasonably level throughout with tarmac roads covering all areas of the park with clearly marked speed bumps in several locations. Please note there is a 10mph speed limit throughout the park.
Some static caravans have allocated parking bays, others have car parking
areas. These caravans are accessed by going across grass. We have one caravan
with a ramp suitable for our disabled guests. Touring/Camping pitches all
have a hard standing with Superior Pitches having a Pea-Shingle base as well
as hedgerow separation.
The Park has four toilet blocks. Toilet block 4 has a unisex disabled toilet,
toilet block 3 has a unisex disabled shower.
Assistance can be given with pitching if required. Assistance dogs welcome
but must be exercised off park.
There are numerous water points, dustbin areas and fire points throughout
the touring field area. Chemical disposal and wash up points are available
at each of the four toilet blocks.
Our car park near our Reception Club building has two dedicated disabled
parking bays, plus there are drop off points for cars and coaches near to
the Reception area. There are dropped kerbs in these areas.
The Shop and Laundrette near to the main car park has sloped as well as stepped
access to both.
Entrance to the Reception/Club is approached by four steps and a graduated
slope.
There is a local bus service to Cirencester which picks up once a day immediately by Reception. Bus timetables and telephone numbers of taxis firms who pick up from the Park are available from Reception.
There are two public telephones, one in the Reception area and one outside near to the Shop. Generally most mobile phone coverage is good.
A unisex disabled toilet is available in our Reception area.
We have an Induction Loop for the hard of hearing in Reception, Bar and our
Lakeside entertainment room.
All areas of the Club are accessible for wheelchair guests.
Swimming Pool. We have a large changing cubicle available, showers are accessible for wheelchairs, the pool is a free form pool with a graduated entry, *disabled hoist is available on request.
Wheelchairs and other items for disabled assistance can be hired locally.
Reception is open from 9am with closing variable, assistance if needed can be obtained from here or when closed the Duty Manager in the Club building until approximately 11pm. In the unlikely event of assistance outside these hours there is an emergency number displayed in Reception and in the Souvenir Guide.
