Hoburne Bashley Access
Hoburne Bashley is a large static and touring caravan park situated on the
edge of the New Forest approximately 1.25 miles from the centre of New Milton.
- The Park consists of 257 touring caravan pitches and 453 static caravans
(privately owned)
- The touring pitches are all sited in fields that are level, with level
road and path access to all the main facilities
- Clubhouse containing bars, catering, indoor and outdoor pools, entertainment
room, amusement arcade, reception
- The Clubhouse has disabled toilets with all ground floor areas wheelchair
accessible
- Swimming pools are accessible via ramps of approximately 1:20 gradient.
The Indoor Pool has beach style entry.
- Reception and bars have Induction Loop hearing assistance
- There is a large tarmac car park adjacent to the Clubhouse with dropped
kerbs to pavements
- The Patio overlooking our Outside Pool is accessible to wheelchairs.
Touring Fields
- All areas are generally level with tarmac roads servicing all pitches
- All pitches are laid to tarmac with the majority having a pea shingle
awning space.
- Parking is permitted in front of your caravan.
- Aspen Field has a toilet and shower specifically designed for disabled
users – key is available free of charge from Reception (a £5.00
returnable deposit is required)
- Assistance in pitching on arrival is available on request
- Each of the three touring fields has a toilet block
- Every pitch has electric hook-up with 25 metres and water within 50 metres
- There is a motor home dump point in Aspen Field
- There is a limited number of multi-service pitches with electric, water
and grey waste disposal on the pitch
- There is a limited number of pitches adapted to accept a caravan plus
two cars

Launderette and Ironing Room
- A ramp of approximately 1:20 leads to the door. There is a 2” threshold.
Play Areas
- The children’s adventure playground is wheelchair accessible and
is laid to grass
- The football field is accessible by wheelchair
Transport
- There is no public transport available to or from the Park other than
a ‘Hoburne Green Bus’ that operates from the last week in July
to the end of August at two hourly intervals.
- Local taxi numbers are displayed in Reception.
- The nearest local station is New Milton.
General Information
- Mobile telephone coverage is generally good, except from within the Clubhouse
- Telephone numbers for doctor, vet and emergency are published in our
souvenir brochure that is given to all bookings on arrival
- All roads have a speed restriction of 10mph and there are speed bumps
at various points on all roads
- Whilst the touring fields, play areas, Clubhouse, Launderette and Shop
are generally on level ground, there are slopes of up to 1:12 adjacent to
some static caravans. This is particularly the case with static caravans
numbered ST 296 to ST 380, WP 1 to WP 47 and ST 401 to ST 426
- Assistance dogs are welcome in all areas
- Reception opens at 9 am every day, but closes at variable times throughout
the year – outside of these hours emergency service is available,
but, please be aware this does not equate to 24 hour service
- Clubhouse facility opening hours vary according to the time of year
- The Indoor Swimming Pool opens at 9 am every day and closes at 8 pm excepting
Sundays from 1st November to1st March when closure is at 6 pm
