Thanks to all kinds of fundraising antics such as raffles, fun days and an auction, Hoburne Cotswolds managed to raise a whopping £2000 for Scope’s PICS (Parent Information & Contact Service) appeal.
Last year half the charity money raised went to Swindon Breast Cancer appeal and the other half went to the Children’s Unit at Bristol Hospital to buy 5 chair beds for Mums and Dads who stay overnight with their sick children. This was where Megan Harrison, daughter of Brian (Senior Warden) and Alison (Housekeeper) was successfully treated for a brain tumour. |
