New Forest Producers’ Markets at Hoburne Naish
Wednesday 11 March
The New Forest Producers’ Markets were first launched during the summer of 2004 and have now evolved into a unique shopping experience. A large percentage of our New Forest producers carry the New Forest Marque which is an assurance to our customers that the goods they buy are genuinely produced locally reducing food miles for the discerning purchaser.
The market is a great opportunity to meet producers and to find out about local food and crafts. At a typical market you will find local meat and sausages; eggs; seasonal fruits and vegetables, bread and cakes made with local flour; homemade soups, quiches, pies, desserts; cheeses; honey and beeswax products; jams, chutneys; mohair goods made from angora goats; creams, tinctures and shampoos made from calendula; plants and much more. We also have guest producers selling high quality goods at each market.
Dates for the Markets are:
Sunday 21st June 2009
Sunday 16th August 2009
Sunday 20th September 2009
Sunday 18th October 2009
Open from 10am to 2pm
