It was a quintessentially English affair when Hoburne Holiday Parks unveiled its refurbished clubhouse at Hoburne Parkin Christchurch on Thursday April 21.
Cucumber sandwiches were served and Christchurch Mayor Councillor Nicholas Geary cut bunting in place of the more traditional ribbon as the country gears up to celebrate the Royal Wedding.
Hoburne’s colourful mascot Sammy Seahorse was also on hand to proudly show off the new facilities for guests and holiday home owners to enjoy.
Hoburne has invested £325,000 in the clubhouse refurbishment this year. The sparkling venue now houses a stylish, contemporary restaurant, state-of-the-art conference room for hire, impressive entertainments hall, new fitness room and soft play area.
Local residents from, Bournemouth to the New Forest, can also enjoy the exciting new facilities on their doorstep with much sought-after membership places currently available and traditional Sunday lunches served in the restaurant are proving increasingly popular. The venue can be hired for private functions too.
General Manager at Hoburne Park, Andrew Duffy, said: “We have had nothing but positive feedback from everyone who has seen the new-look clubhouse and we have already taken the first bookings for the conference room, so it’s looking very positive indeed.
“Investment is key to Hoburne. We have been part of this community for nearly 100 years and will continue to invest in our facilities, accommodation and entertainment, playing our part in bringing jobs and tourism to the area.”
