We know you probably have a number of questions about owning your own Hoburne Holiday Home and to help we have compiled a list of the most popular questions we get asked. If you have any questions that are not covered here then please feel free to use our contact form or give us a call.

Finance & cost

  • How much does a typical Hoburne Holiday Home cost?

    Hoburne Holiday Parks have a wide range of both new and pre-owned holiday homes “for sale”. Brand new holiday homes generally start from £29,999 while our pre-owned holiday homes can start from as little as £9,999 dependent on what stock is available.   • Can you provide finance, if needed?

    We currently offer finance through IM Financial Services, who are specialists within the holiday home business. We work closely with them to provide customers with the best finance deal for their holiday home.

  • How much will it cost to maintain my holiday home?

    As with owning your own car or home there are some associated running costs to pay for your holiday home. Whilst these costs vary slightly from park to park our pitch fees (chargeable yearly) are a maximum of £3,500.00 (including VAT) some of our parks are considerably less. Other charges include electricity, non domestic rates, water and sewerage rates.

  • Do I need to insure my Holiday Home?

    You need to ensure that your holiday home is comprehensively insured and the policy has adequate liability cover. We would recommend that you use a specialist caravan insurer.

  • Is my new Hoburne Holiday Home covered by a warranty?

    All new holiday homes are covered by a 12 month manufacturer’s warranty.

  • Is buying a holiday home a good investment?

    We always advise customers to view buying a holiday home as a lifestyle choice; to relax unwind and enjoy time with family and friends rather than as a financial investment.

  • I currently own a holiday home on another park, can you help?

    If you are considering purchasing a Hoburne Holiday Home , we are happy to discuss the options available to you. We also have a number of trade contacts who may be interested in purchasing your holiday home.

Parks & rules

  • Do I require TV licence for my Holiday Home?

    You do not require a TV licence if the TVs in your main residence are not being used whilst you are staying in your holiday home. If you sublet your holiday home you do require a TV Licence.

  • When and for how long can I use my Hoburne Holiday Home?

    Seasons vary from Park to Park, but typically you can use your holiday home for 10 months of the year and over weekends in the winter. Please check with the particular Park you are interested in. It is important we make you aware that you cannot use your holiday home as a permanent residence.

  • Can I have decking with my holiday home?

    We supply decking from two of the UK’s leading suppliers Mayfield Leisure and Vinyl Solutions. We are always to happy discuss your requirements and explain the options available to you.

  • Can family and friends come to visit?

    You are more than welcome to invite family and friends along to use your holiday home. You will receive 6 adult passes and 6 child passes to enjoy the on-site facilities and entertainment. If required additional entertainment passes can be purchased via the Park reception, although these may be in short supply during peak periods.

  • Can I bring along a pet?

    Generally speaking owners are welcome to bring their pets with them, provided that they are respectful of other guests, although we do not allow pets at Hoburne Doublebois and Hoburne Torbay. Dogs must be kept on a lead and under control at all times. It is best to check with your chosen Park.

  • How long does the typical licence run till?

    Brand new holiday home are sold with a 15-year pitch licence agreement. Pre owned holiday homes are sold with what remains of their original licence agreement.

  • Can I move my Holiday Home to a different park?

    We require no less than 2 months notice in writing for customers that wish to remove their holiday home from one of our parks.

  • Can I let my Hoburne Holiday Home out to other holiday makers?

    Most of our Parks offer a letting agency service (subject to the age and condition of your holiday home) for which we charge 20% commission. Linen and cleaning charges are additional, all charges are +VAT. You are able to let your holiday home independently and we are happy to release the keys, with your authorisation.

  • Do I need to make an appointment to view?

    We operate an open door policy so that customers can come along when best suits them, although it is always advisable to make an appointment if you are travelling far. We can then ensure we are free to show you around and answer any questions you may have.

  • What are the Park rules?

    Hoburne’s Park Rules are available on request and exist to ensure everyone visiting the Park has a fun, safe and enjoyable time with us.

  • What holiday homes do you have available?

    We have a wide range of new and pre-owned holiday homes with two or three bedrooms. Please use our search facility to see what we have available – our website is regularly updated, if you don’t see what you're looking for please call one of our parks for further information.

  • Will you be constantly calling and chasing us if we visit and leave our contact details?

    We promise not to phone and email you with offers that won’t be of interest to you. If you provide us with your email address we will email you with our quarterly email newsletter updating you on what is available. You are able to opt out of this service at any time.
