Hoburne Blue Anchor
Stand at the entrance to Hoburne Blue Anchor holiday park and take in the 360-degree view. In front of you, fishermen cast their lines into the sea when the tide is in, or children play on the sandy beach when the tide is out.
The Bay is surrounded by alabaster rocks and cliffs making it not only great for rockpooling, but also of great geological interest. Look to the right, and the cliff jutting into the sea hides Watchet with its new marina and statue of the Ancient Mariner. Turn again and see glorious open countryside towards the Quantock Hills, and perhaps the nostalgic sight of the West Somerset Railway as it borders the park.
Next is rugged Exmoor, with its wealth of beauty and wildlife. Finally turn again and see Minehead in the distance, offering all the fun of a traditional seaside town with its promenade, long sandy beach and picturesque harbour.

Very enjoyable holiday, only stayed 4 days which wasn't long enough. The caravan was spotlessly clean, very friendly helpful staff. The pool was lovely and warm. A perfect location for walking and exploring with stunning views.
