Crowd-pleasing Days Out in the New Forest

PAULTONS PARK & PEPPA PIG WORLD
Paulton’s makes the ideal day out for those younger holiday-makers.
With over 70 rides and attractions including 9 Peppa Pig-themed rides, a large indoor play zone and ‘Little Africa’ animal adventure area, there is a huge variety of things to do.
Situated at Ower, on the edge of the New Forest National Park you can easily spend a day exploring the 140 acres of parkland. Peppa herself may even make an appearance!
BEAULIEU MOTOR MUSEUM
A great day out for all ages! Beaulieu Motor Museum is home to over 250 cars, motorcycles and memorabilia including famous four-wheeled stars from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Top Gear.
It’s not all about the cars though, as you’ll also be able to explore the Palace House and grounds which date back to Victorian times. Find out what the Victorians ate and how they cooked it – you could even get a tour from a costumed-guide acting as a Victorian maid.
ST BARBE MUSEUM AND ART GALLERY
Take a trip to the historic market town of Lymington and get a feel for the local history at the St Barbe Museum.
With a strong connection to the marine industry, the museum demonstrates how the town developed as a port for smugglers, salt makers and boat builders – much of which you’ll still find evidence of within the area today.
Exhibitions in the art gallery change on a regular basis and display loans from the country’s best public and private collections, as well as a selection of local art which can be purchased.
NEW FOREST LAVENDER FARM
With the beautiful gardens to explore, and enough cake to feed the whole of Hampshire; it’s the perfect way to spend a sunny afternoon with friends or family.You’ll be in flower-heaven at the New Forest Lavender farm!
Plus, if you just can’t get enough of the purple-posy then the gift shop is the perfect place to get your hands some lovely homemade lavender goodies.
NEW FOREST WATER PARK
Whether you’re looking to fill a full day or just a few hours; the New Forest Waterpark has a huge range of activities perfect for groups of family or friends.
Try your hand at kayaking, see if you can stand-up paddleboard or tackle the inflatable sports aqua-
park spanning an impressive 4,000 square meters.
NEW FOREST WILDLIFE PARK
One for the animal-lovers; the New Forest Wildlife Park houses a wide range of animals including fallow deer, giant otters and the dominant grey wolf.
Throughout the day you’ll be able to attend live talks and feeding sessions – the perfect opportunity to get up close and personal with the animals and ask any questions you may have.
