To those in the know, Dorset is justly famous for its peaceful rolling countryside, dramatic coastline, and historic sites galore. It's perfect for families and couples alike.
Between them, the Dorset towns of Christchurch, Bournemouth and Poole offer a fascinating blend of ancient and modern, peaceful and vibrant. The beaches are among the finest in the country, the shopping, nightlife and amenities are second to none, and there is a cosmopolitan 'buzz' to the region. To the west, the county is spectacular, with the wonders of the Jurassic Coast demanding a visit. All along the coastline there are dramatic cliffs, coves and headlands, charming seaside resorts, and superb countryside. Ancient castles, prehistoric remains, sleepy villages, wide-awake towns and everywhere you look, splendid views and scenery create the perfect location for our holiday park in Dorset.

At last, the event you've been waiting for. Sandstorm is a beach assault course over a 5k, or - if you're really up for a challenge - you can do 2 laps for 10K. It's organised by the RNLI - the charity that saves lives at sea. You can enter alone or team up with your squad to push yourself to the limit over obstacles set along the sand.
It’s a test of strength and determination, and a whole new kind of challenge. And it raises vital funds to support the lifesaving work of the RNLI. Our volunteer lifesavers jump into action at a moment’s notice to save lives at sea in all conditions.
