Generations of holidaymakers have enjoyed the unique attractions of Devon. At Hoburne Devon Bay, you can join them.

When you think of the typical English seaside resort, South Devon is what you imagine. They call it ’The English Riviera’ for its mild climate, shady palm trees and the mile after mile of golden beaches and picturesque villages that dot its coastline.

People have been holidaying here for nearly 200 years, so it’s no surprise that when it comes to keep the family entertained, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

There’s more to it than seaside attractions though. Head up to nearby Dartmoor, and things couldn’t be more different, with a rugged landscape of moorland walks topped with spectacular stone tors to explore.

But if you don’t fancy pulling your hiking boots on, there’s lots more are loads of family attractions to sample, including theme parks, animal sanctuaries, castles, stately homes and more. And when you need a break from all that activity, there’s always somewhere to enjoy a Devon cream tea – with the jam on top, of course.
