Standing beside the grave of Jane Austen and reflecting on the life of this great author is a moving experience. This tour by specialist Cathedral guides includes insights into Jane's life and connections within Hampshire, a walk through the Cathedral Close to the house on College Street where she died and time at her grave. The full weekend of events at the Bournemouth Marathon Festival attracts around 12,000 runners, with thousands more lining the course to support, and features the spectacular Speed of Light 5k, Supersonic 10k and two Junior Races on Saturday, with the Marathon and Half Marathon races on Sunday.
