Hoburne Park, Bashley and Naish are all located quite close to each other, so they all benefit from the same beautiful scenery. Firstly, they are all nearby the magnificent New Forest National Park which boasts ancient woodlands, open heathland, rivers and so much more. From butterflies and beetles to deer and dragonflies, the New Forest offers wildlife lovers a glimpse of nature at its best.
The other major outdoor attraction offered by these parks is their proximity to the beach. Just a short journey away is Avon beach, with its beautiful views of the Needles and the Isle of Wight. Venture a little further and you’ll find the world-famous Bournemouth beach with its gorgeous, long stretches of sand.
The outdoor excitement doesn’t stop at the beach though. Go for a clifftop walk along the legendary Jurassic Coast and gaze out to sea, climb to the top of Hengistbury Head or just skim stones in the clear, blue water.
Hoburne Blue Anchor features all of the best outdoor terrain Somerset has to offer. Located in the heart of the countryside,Exmoor National Park is nearby with over 9,000 hectares of woodlands located in deep valleys or along steep coastal cliffs just waiting to be explored. With farmland, moorland, rivers and streams in abundance, you’ll find plenty of wildlife, such as deer, ponies, bugs and butterflies. You can also walk straight down to the beach and either sunbathe all day or have a dip in the cool waters.
Hoburne Cotswold is a water lovers’ paradise. Within the local area, there are around 150 different lakes to go and explore, and four of those lakes are located within the park boundaries! With opportunities to explore the lakes via pedalo, go fishing, have a swim or enjoy the local water park, there are water activities to suit all tastes. There’s much more to the Cotswolds than just lakes though, with rolling hills and beautiful countryside all around, you’re sure to find a nature trail to reignite your love of the outdoors.
Located right on the English Riviera which boasts 22 miles of unspoilt and magnificent coastline, Hoburne Devon Bay is a spectacular location to get back to nature. Just up the road you’ll find Dartmoor National Park, where you can enjoy walking, cycling, horse riding, climbing, canoeing, geocaching and more! From striking granite tors to steep wooded river valleys and heather covered moorland, this National Park is one not to be missed. Devon Bay is also located conveniently close to sandy beaches so you can enjoy a relaxing beach holiday if that’s how you want to spend your time.
Hoburne Doublebois is located in an area which will give you true appreciation for the Cornish countryside. Just down the road from Bodmin Moor, you will find stunning lakes, dramatic granite tors, marshes, bogs and woodland. You’ll also be close to wonderful beach walks and amazing fishing opportunities at the River Fowey. Alternatively, you could go and visit the nearby Padstow fishing port or Polperro fishing village and breath in the smell of freshly caught seafood.
