Hoburne – one of the UK’s longest established holiday groups has invested just over half a million pounds into its holiday park based in Blue Anchor Bay, near Minehead in Somerset.
The investment is part of the second phase of company-wide developments, in which all of Hoburne’s seven holiday parks have been enhanced over the past two years.
This development will ensure an improved customer experience for all visitors ready for the 2017 holiday season.
As a result of a £663,000 spend at Hoburne Blue Anchor, the park will have:
- Refurbished leisure facilities, including sauna, steam room and fitness suite
- New and improved communal area, providing welcoming and contemporary spaces to relax with the family
- A new-look patio area
Managing Director of Hoburne, Rod Tucker, commented: “Last year saw a record year for us, with profitability up 20%. The investments that we have made are testament to our commitment to reinvest in our parks, set new standards across the industry and our goal of exceeding customer’s expectations.”
Hoburne, which was established in Dorset in 1912, has a policy of continual reinvestment and improvement. Over £6million was invested in the 2016 and Hoburne Devon Bay is part of the second phase of investment, which sees a further £1.7m invested across the group.
The company’s philosophy is focussed on providing traditional family holidays with the highest standards in facilities, accommodation and service, at value
